2004 Narrative Report for GCAC Interim Report

Because the summer and early fall are difficult times to form a cast for an actual play, we offered numerous activities throughout the summer and into the early part of October (including play readings [one directed] and The Goodbye Kids (seven monologues presented to the public concerning teenage dropouts). Then, once Autumn Glory was over, we hit hard with Ghostwalk and the highly popular presentation of Over the River and Through the Woods , which included 4 nights of dinner theatre. Numerous coffee houses and improv nights were scheduled and we had two evenings of An Our Town Christmas , featuring different local musicians (and one Russian guitarist). As you can see from the list below, many of our events have been well-attended. We feel that we have provided a variety of theatrical genres within the last few months and that we are honoring our mission statement.
